Bunn Family Alaska Adventure

Follow along as we travel with three kiddos, three pups and a bearded dragon from NC to Kodiak, Alaska.

Jasper, AB to Grand Prairie, AB

Friday June 21st- Did some work and had a slow morning. Hit the road, but did not take the campground’s water backflow valve (the campground owner was very serious about this 😆). Had a pretty uneventful day and didn’t really stop other than to eat and get gas. Realized we lost a bracket off our hitch, rendering it useless on one side. Found a RV place at our next stop and decided we could make it until then. Stopped at a Walmart for groceries and realized that it didn’t carry produce or frozen goods. Also no disposable bags at all, which is good but I was not prepared. We use Walmart bags for our bathroom trashcan and diapers, what do they do in Canada? Buy little bags ? 😂. There are lots of pretty birch trees here, saw a Caribou crossing sign but no Caribou. Did see one mountian goat!I was pretty sad and had a hard day missing home. Everything is beautiful but it’s not home. God winked at me because we pulled into the campground in Grande Prairie and immediately saw a NC State tire cover. My internal clock is all sorts of confused and it’s light at 11pm (see last picture). Headed to British Columbia next. -L
