Sunday June 30th-> Thursday July 4th We boarded the ferry and got to our staterooms. It’s amazing how they fit the camper and brought it down on the elevator. Our staterooms had two bunks each and a little sink. Me, Lia, and Ozzie stayed in one room, and Joey and Obi stayed in another. The Read more

Saturday June 29th- Made it to Homer to camp before the ferry. Homer is the cutest little fishing town. They call the one lane road to to the gulf “lands end.” Absolutely amazing views. Unexpectedly, I didn’t have hookups in our spot for the camper because we were in a beachfront spot. Our neighbor let Read more

Friday, June 28th Uneventful drive with some pretty amazing views of glaciers along the way. Had to change our campground from our initial plans and they couldn’t rebook due to availability but ended up at Mt.View campground with a nice view. We are super tired but on the home stretch. Thursday, June 27th-Left Kulane lake with promise to Lenn to return in three years. He’s 80 and still riding around on his four-wheeler running the campground. Thought we would run into somewhere to get food, but after about two hours of nothing, we pulled over and cooked some Flatbread in the oven on gas. Before Read more

Monday June 24th- On the road again from Muncho lake, headed to Nugget City- our first stop in the Yukon. Made a pit stop at Liard hotsprings where Lia saw a bear fence sign and said, “There are bears, so we have to say hi.” The hotsprings were amazing, so warm- slightly stinky from the Read more

Sunday, June 23rd Super rainy Sunday as we made our way to Muncho Lake. The smoke from recent wildfires was thick. Lots of burned trees as we passed. Tetsa River Lodge claimed to be the “Cinnamon Bun Center of the Galactic Cluster” so of course we had to stop for one. They were gooey and Read more

Left our site at Grand Prairie and searched for a replacement mate for our lonely hitch bracket. Saw some non-yellowstone/free bison 🦬 and got some loaded fries from a Mexican cantina/fried chicken place that was amazing. Stopped by the historic mile post “0” of the ALCAN (Alaskan Canadian Highway) for photos. Crazy we’ve been so Read more

Friday June 21st- Did some work and had a slow morning. Hit the road, but did not take the campground’s water backflow valve (the campground owner was very serious about this 😆). Had a pretty uneventful day and didn’t really stop other than to eat and get gas. Realized we lost a bracket off our Read more
