Saturday- Visited Mt. Rushmore up close before heading out of the campground. Didn’t leave before Lia pet the horses.  Joey promised that when we get done with coast guard life he would buy her a “white horsey”. Documenting it here as proof he said it 😅. Realized mid-day that it was June 15th and our 11th anniversary. Happy Anniversary darlin’. Almost toppled over in the Montana crosswinds, which was scary but the scenery was beautiful and Joey did great keeping us on the road. It’s amazing how far out people live with no towns for hours. Took it slow and finally arrived at our campground around 8pm. Grilled some steak for our anniversary and called it a night. Yellowstone tomorrow!
