Hard start to the day as we left NC. Found what looked like the shire and was tempted to hide out and skip Alaska.  Quick stop at Bucees to see what the hype is about with beaver gas. Our takeaways of Bucees: busy, good brisket sandwich, way more  beaver memorabilia than anyone needs, awesome glazes pecans, random free squished bug washing station for vehicles, did I mention busy?Passed some huge cross sculptures and the Sunsphere in Knoxville. Arrived in Nashville and ended with a great visit with Joe and Karen, my nursing instructor turned family. Kansas City, MO here we come….
